Google Earth Shortcuts and Tips F11 - View Full Screen - removes the side and bottom bar. F10 - Plays a Tour - moves between 2 or more placemarks. Ctrl + S - Save Image - Saves the current view as an image to your computer. Ctrl + P Print - Produces the print dialog allowing you to print the current view. Ctrl + E - Email View - E-mails the current view either as a placemark or image file. Ctrl + M Overview Map Gives additional view of the earth and a position indication of the current view. Options Under Tools there is the Options area. Alter the Vertical Exaggeration on Google Earth from the default of 1. When you increase the number the slopes on maps get steeper. Remember to put it back to 1 before you leave and that the maximum that it can go to is 3. Zoom Use the Mouse Scroll wheel and Page up/ Page Down keys to zoom in and out. Measure Tool: Select Tools Measure and path to find out distances between placemark locations or anywhere on Google Earth. Saving Screenshots: Select File menu Save Image give your image a name and select the Save button.
