Position Advertisement Position: WorkSource Liaison Compensation: $16/hour plus benefits Reports to: Manager of WorkSource Center and Literacy Services Position Summary The WorkSource Liaison is an integral part of a strong WorkSource Center team. This individual will largely be responsible for serving as a liaison between the WorkSource system and key community partner organizations. He/she will connect Community Partner organizations participants to WorkSource services. Specific Responsibilities Act in a professional and positive manner provide accurate information polished written materials and expert technical assistance Provide training technical assistance and coaching to community partner staff about facilitating the Career Mapping Workshop developing career and resource plans and using the WorkSource system to implement the plans Coordinate with other regional WorkSource Liaisons to ensure staff at all WorkSource Centers understand the process for engaging and tracking participants from Community Partners Meet with Community Partner case managers and their customers regularly to review progress toward planned career goals update career plans and assign next steps Address any difficulties or barriers to Community Partner customers accessing WorkSource services work with WorkSource and Community Partner staff to resolve problems and provide direct technical assistance to avoid future similar problems Ensure Community Partner staff are informed and updated about WorkSource Center procedures Center schedule performance progress upcoming events available resources or other related topics Collaborate regularly with other Liaisons across the region to ensure the participants of all Community Partners receive excellent customer services and coordinated access to WorkSource Centers and that systems and processes are continuously improved Track performance and utilization of resources Monitor and evaluate progress toward performance outcomes. Collaborate with Worksystems Inc. to make strategic changes to program delivery to ensure outcomes are met. Report to Worksystems Inc. about progress toward planned goals. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor s degree preferred National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred At least two years experience in the workforce development field Extensive experience working with the public Excellent communication skills Proven customer service skills Ability to work under pressure and deadlines Ability to deliver information clearly and concisely Knowledge of computers and data systems Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and address customer concerns and issues Preference given to bi-lingual and/or bi-cultural candidates Ability to pass criminal background check Status This is a regular full-time position (based on funding renewal).
