Contents : 8 families that work SPRING 2007 GRADUATE FELLOWS COMPLETE STUDIES AND BEGIN THEIR CAREERS A number of MARIAL graduate fellows have completed their studies at Emory and moved on to the next phase of their careers. The former fellows and their new positions are as follows: Jennifer Bohanek PhD is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Developmental Science University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Jason DeCaro PhD has a tenure-track position at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He is assistant professor in biological anthropology and also is setting up the Developmental Ecology and Human Biology Lab. Dan Hruschka PhD is a postdoctoral fellow at the Santa Fe Institute in Santa Fe New Mexico. It is a private nonprofit independent research and education center founded in 1984 for multidisciplinary collaborations in the physical biological computational and social sciences. Amber Lazarus is doing a clinical internship at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Atlanta. Ashby Walker PhD is assistant professor of sociology at Mars Hill College in Mars Hill North Carolina and will serve as department chair in the fall.
