ABSTRACT This research is about Tactile Exploration Activities to Improve the Body Concept of Blind Children Aged 6-7 years old . These activity is an alternative to learn the body concept. In general the goal of this research is to recognize how the activities can improve the body concept of the blind children. The academic advantages of the research are to become a to be considered in defining the training techniques of learning the body concept for the blind children. The research is an experimental that is conducted to single subject research a blind childs. The body concept being investigated covers four aspects: body planes body movement laterality and directionality. Data collection is executed by applying test instrument created by Cratty and Sam (1968). The design applied in the research in reversal design A-B while the data analysis techniques referred to descriptive statistical analysis. The data are analysed based on the analysis intercondition and analysis in condition. In my expreriment I used some media clay mannequin wodden cubes with textural sides and geometrical forms of triplex wood. The result exposed that there is an increase of body concept of the blind children concerning body planes body movements laterality and directionality. These four aspects are influential to orientation and mobility. The result has been achieved as such and it is expected that the next researchers can investigated the other media that can be applied an order to increase the comprehension of body concept the blind children.
