Maslinovo ulje je proizvod po kojem neka regija mo e biti prepoznatljiva jer samo u toj regiji daje izuzetno visoku kvalitetu i karakter proizvoda koji proizlazi iz agroekolo kih i tradicijskih uvjeta specifi nih odre enoj regiji. Ulje proizvedeno od lokalne sorte masline Krvavice se mo e uvrstiti u grupu autohtonih proizvoda visokog gospodarskog potencijala iju proizvodnju treba favorizirati i po kojem skradinska regija mo e biti prepoznatljiva. Pretpostavlja se da je sorta ''Krvavica'' sinonim sorti ''Murgulji'' koja se u malom udjelu uzgaja na dubrova kom podru ju. Nije poznato koji je centar irenja ''Krvavice'' ali postoje pretpostavke da se sorta pro irila iz skradinskog podru ja u dubrova ko. Cilj projekta je utvrditi genetski identitet masline ''Krvavica'' primjenom morfolo kih i molekularnih markera u usporedbi sa referentnim sortama i sortama za koje se pretpostavlja da su sinonimi. Statisti kom analizom morfolo kih i molekularnih podataka utvr eno je da sorta masline Krvavica iz skradinskog podru ja nije istovjetna sorti Murgulji . Olive oil is a product by which particular growing region may be recognized as high quality of particular variety and its oil may be a consequence of agroecological conditions and tradition of producing in that particular region. Olive oil produced from local variety Krvavica may be listed into the group of autochthonous products of high economic potential which should be preferred in production and according to which the Skradin region may be recognized. It is assumed that variety ''Krvavica'' is a synonym to other variety ''Murgulja'' which is grown in small scale in the region of Dubrovnik. The spreading centre of ''Krvavica'' is not kno wn but it was assumed that it was spread from Skradin region to Dubrovnik region. The goal of research was genetic identification of variety ''Krvavica'' using morphological and SSR molecular markers and comparison with referent varieties and varieties w hich are assumed synonyms. Statistical analysis of morphological and molecular data showed that variety ''Krvavica'' is not identical to the variety ''Murgulja'' from the Dubrovnik region.
