Enhance PDO Site on web give section PDOs access 9. AICP recruitment pamphlets need updating 10. Talking Points press release newsletter article about how great AICP is depending on format could be on PDO webpage 11. Current AICP Info Issues (PDO Memo) 12. Template for ethics presentations 13. What other states do for AICP Review: SC: PDO creates 5-day course over several months with volunteer speakers MN: State conference session & spring review St. Louis MO: State conference hire outside consultants IL: Hire outside consultants twice yearly 3. CPD Online System Has made PDO life easier Next Step: Have contests etc. to get people to use the online system (ie. State conference discounts for certificate holders) 4. AICP review work slips first Two exam windows creates stress AICP candidates are very serious and demanding Try to answer messages and email but can be very distracting at work lots of weekend time spend on PDO work 5. PDO Committee Critical to success Good committee helps with workshops conferences etc. 6. Members have high expectations for PDO Expect PDO to know exam answers List of resources for exam prep would be helpful 7. PDO sends email to exam candidates should all PDOs do this 8. AICP List Serve Does this still exist Could be a good place to send candidates for exam questions 9. Hard to keep up with Exam study resources and details of exam application PDO can better outline this info Strategies for Balancing 1. Integrate AICP topics into CPD credit sessions throughout year 2. Use committees and support staff 3. Utilize state chapter websites for AICP info (ie. Message board) 4. Network with other organizations to combine courses CPD Online System 1. If anyone can create log of workshops how is it filtered (PDO used to do this) 2.
